Ella Bananas

Ella's latest favourite game is hiding under blankets "fort" and having us find her. She giggles like crazy and always says "again" "again" when we're playing it.

Her words and sentences are getting pretty good. She can say a ton of words - she surprises us everyday with the words she knows - and forms short sentences regularly. We're at the point were it feels like we can have somewhat of a conversation with her and feel like she comprehends it (she doesn't always obey - but she seems to understand). She is starting to get the hang of colours and counting but doesn't always get it right yet. She has started to jump too - it's super cute. We'll try to get it on video so we can share it.

Ella Keeps Making Us Laugh

Ella keeps doing things that make us laugh - she is so funny these days. Constantly giggling and being silly. Right now she loves dancing and tickles.

Sparkly....I think we're going to be getting a lot of this over the holidays.

We were a friend's shower a couple weeks ago and Ella kept lifting up her shirt to  show everyone her belly button (she is still obsessed with belly buttons). 

She needed to make sure EVERYONE saw her belly button, so she did this on the stage they had set up. That's right - shirt in mouth so she could still move her hands around, on a stage in front of 100+ people. Classy - that's our girl.
