A fish called awesome...

Ella loves fish and gets mesmerized whenever fish are around so we got her one today. She was super excited in the store and kept wanting to look at it on the way home. She also said it was "awesome". She said "awesome" for the first time when we were at the cottage, but said it earlier today when she was looking at the fish - really cute.

She is also doing some pretty neat things now like walking up and down stairs on her feet (not crawling) and using a fork and spoon pretty well.

I like to eat soap...

I was having a shower the other day and saw this in the soap. Seriously. We do feed Ella, honest.

One morning last week I couldn't find my work keys and pass. I turned my bag upside down and could not find them anywhere.

When I got home that night from work we search around and found the pass here....in the storage compartment of Ella's toy truck. Ela often plays with my purse and I guess she found the pass and took it for safekeeping.

My Cottage Vacation

We went up North last week and had a great time with Ella. She is at such an amazing stage right now. She has new words every day and can string a few words together at a time in sentences like "all gone mommy" and "here you go". She can kind of count to three (she can say the words but only identifies the correct numbers about 70% of the time). She is also obsessed with collecting stones, dogs, running, and pretending that anything with buttons on it (remotes, calculators etc.) is a phone ("Helwo! Helwo!"). She also loves doing cheers (with her milk), reading and books, and giving out kisses and hugs. So sweet.
